Regulator, (1 folder, 1882): U.S. Patent No. 269,805

A patent granted to Hiram S. Maxim on December 26, 1882, for a regulator designed to improve the performance of dynamo-electric machines. Lewis Latimer was an employee of Hiram Maxim’s during the early 1880s, and it is possible that he was involved in helping to develop or illustrate this prototype.
