This folder contains letters by Frank A. Wardlaw, Secretary of the Edison Pioneers, to Louise Latimer in 1928-29 discussing his “In Memoriam” piece written after Lewis Latimer’s death, his condolences, and reminiscences about Latimer. It also contains correspondence from Albert Morris to Louise Latimer in 1956, with reference to “A Short Biography of Lewis Latimer” written by Morris, and other matters. Official Business Letters: Correspondence from various companies and institutions, some bearing official letterheads. Personal Letters: Handwritten letters between family members and associates. Legal and Administrative Documents: Typewritten statements, possibly related to financial or estate matters. Envelopes with Postmarks and Stamps: Some letters are preserved in their original mailed envelopes, with visible postal markings.
