Port Clinton, and Lakeside Railway Co., (3 folders, ca. 1890)
This document is part of a legal exhibit from the Stanley Electric Manufacturing Company vs. Toledo Port Clinton & Lakeside Railway Company case, related to Henry Patent No. 705,241. The exhibit is labeled as Broadhurst Exhibit No. 5 and presents a technical schematic for the regulator drum connections in the Bullock Electric Manufacturing Company's control system. As a mechanical draftsman and patents expert, Lewis Latimer worked for the Edison Company on complex lawsuits in which different companies challenged each other over patent infringement. He may also have done some of this work on a freelance basis for other clients.
