Mr. Latimer’s Barber Shop in Bridgeport 1880.
Drawing
The perspective seems to show the interior of a barbershop.
There are several chairs and tables, including what looks like a barber’s chair.
A mirror is visible on the right side.
Various bottles and grooming tools are placed on a desk.
The walls appear lined with shelves or windows, possibly displaying grooming products or other tools.
The ceiling has visible beams, giving insight into the shop’s architecture.

This may be an original drawing by Lewis H. Latimer, as he was known for both his engineering and artistic skills. It could document a historical Black-owned barbershop, which would have been a significant community space in Bridgeport, Connecticut in the late 19th century.
