Edison Pioneers

The Edison Pioneers was an organization established to honor and bring together individuals who had worked with Thomas Edison or contributed to the advancement of electrical engineering and innovation. This book serves as an official document outlining the constitution and by-laws governing the group. The well-preserved cover reflects the significance of this historical artifact in the history of technology and innovation.

Used to illustrate Lewis Latimer's participation in Edison Pioneers and their relationship to his peers. The founding constitution of the organization, stemming from a February dinner in New York on the occasion of Edison's 71st birthday. The intent was to associate those who worked with Edison prior to 1886. The group continued to meet in the coming years, and OCLC recorded printings (revised) of the constitution as late as 1934, but no locations were noted for this first edition.
