This bound volume is part of the Latimer Family Papers and contains an issue of Cassier’s Magazine, November 1892, featuring an article on “The Life and Inventions of Edison.” On the inside front cover of the bound volume, Lewis Latimer wrote “From L. H. Latimer.” Given Latimer’s great respect and admiration for Thomas Edison, and his long employment by Edison’s company, the frequent appearance of Edison-related clippings and books in Latimer’s personal library is understandable.
